A great guitarist and composer, Dionisio Aguado was a student of Miguel Garcia. In 1825 Agaudo met Fernando Sor in Paris. They became friends even though the two had different styles: Aguado used his nails and always liked extremely fast scales. Rossini and Paganini were among Aguado's greatest fans. Aguado’s pedagogical work, Escuela de Guitarrawas is still in print today and is widely used by the modern guitar performers.
