Internationally acclaimed Italian baritone, composer and voice teacher, Salvatore Marchesi was a professor of the Vienna Conservatory. Marchesi is the author of an important voice methodology. Marchesi translated the librettos of Tannhäuser and Lohengrin into Italian language. As a composer, Marchesi published several songs in French, German and Italian. Marchesi’s Twenty Elementary and Progressive Vocalises were a direct result of his brilliant career as an artist and teacher.
