Together with Rode and Kreutzer, Federigo Fiorillo made a great contribution to the teaching methods and learning repertoire that are still widely in a standard pedagogical use. Fiorillo studied in London and was recognized through his performances as violist in the Salomon's quartet. An outstanding violinist, violist and composer, Fiorillo is chiefly known for his 36 Violin Caprices. Fiorillo’s methods and studies are of extraordinary musical quality.
